Vendor registrations now renew yearly
Sep 13, 2026Registrations stay active for 365 days. You'll get a reminder 30 days before yours expires, and renewing keeps your EdBid Vendor ID.
Institutions can now post directly
Aug 26, 2026Purchasing staff can sign in with their work email, join their institution, and publish notices. Notices from unverified institutions are labeled until EdBid confirms them.
How EdBid Works
- Schools post RFPs, bids, and quick quotes. A second staff member approves them before they go public.
- Vendors register once, upload a W-9 and insurance certificate, and get verification badges.
- Bids stay sealed. Nobody, including EdBid, can see amounts until the deadline passes.
- The school awards and signs its own contract. Your tax form is shared only with the school that awards you.
- You get paid, then pay 1%. Schools that pay slowly show it on their public profile.
